Ray Dasher - "Where Innovation Meets Fashion"

Social Responsibility

We strongly believe that companies have a social responsibility to our communities and the environment. To meet our part of our social responsibility, Ray Dasher is committed to finding suppliers who have proven to have a fair and responsible approach to business and who share our belief in protecting our customers, communities, and the environment.

Looking after Employees

Our first responsibility is to our employees, so we understand the importance of maintaining a healthy and positive working environment.

  • We are an Equal Opportunities Employer in accordance with the Human Rights Act of 2010.
  • We provide our employees with all of the health and safety training required by California law, regardless of where our employees are.
  • We invest in our staff to help them reach their potential, including establishing a personal development plan.

Looking after Customers

With our loyal, dedicated staff, we are better able to look after our customers, creating a positive impression.

  • We respond to requests and questions within 2 business days. We keep things structured and consistent to refrain from any confusion happening for customers.
  • As a company we always strive for quality, including implementing a quality management system (QMS).
  • Our customers’ safety is always a priority.
  • We are always honest with our customers.

  • Factories and suppliers must recognize and respect employees’ right to collective bargaining.
  • Factories and suppliers must not use subcontractors in the manufacture of products without written approval.
  • No person working for or with supplier shall be subject to any discrimination in employment on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, or social or ethnic origin, including the following:

  • All factories and suppliers must provide compensation that at least meets the minimum compensation by local law (including overtime work) and required benefits.
  • Factories must ensure that, except in extraordinary business circumstances, on a regularly scheduled basis, workers shall not be required to work more than the lesser of (a) sixty (60) hours per week, including overtime or (b) the limits on regular and overtime hours allowed by the law of the country of manufacture. In addition, except in extraordinary business circumstances, all workers shall be entitled to at least one day off in every consecutive seven day period.
  • Factories must comply with all local environmental laws applicable to their operations.

Protecting the Environment

To protect the environment, we strive to use local suppliers as much as possible. In addition, we proactively protect the environment, through the inclusion of the following activities:

  • Participate in outdoor cleanup excisions
  • Reduce, reuse, and recycle
  • Use best practices to conserve energy
  • Use environmentally-friendly technologies

Community Engagement

We believe in supporting community social programs, including partnering with vendors to improve the supply chain or institute worker programs. We also believe in supporting nonprofit organizations and movements that promote cultural and economic development of global and local communities.

Measurement

We realize the importance of regularly assessing current practices and technologies to determine if they continue to be efficient and effective. We have policies and procedures to help ensure that these assessments are done at least on an annual basis. The assessments are tracked and discussed to make changes and improvements as needed.
